Thakershy Charitable Trust is established in 1978 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and is running a general hospital for quality medical care to needy and poor people. It treated about 150 covid patients free of charge. They are now constructing seven storied new building with about 100 beds capacity. It is mainly known for Cancer Palliative Care Centre, Diabetes Research Centre, Cleft treatment, Dialysis and Physiotherapy treatment.

To help the Thakershy Charitable Trust to undertake its medical services for the socially and economically weaker sections of society in a better way, the Company has extended financial assistance to Thakershy Charitable Trust for the construction of new hospital premises Opp. Bimanagar, Satellite Road, Ahmedabad. Gujarat Tea Processors and Packers Limited is one of the Company who is supporting this construction of new hospital. The aid will be utilized in building a new wellequipped multi-speciality hospital. This act of benevolence will help the hospital to give effective treatment to underprivileged people at reasonable charges.
