Support Services for Dialysis and Pathology

Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital (MPUH) is popularly known as “Nadiad Kidney Hospital” in Kheda District of Gujarat. MPUH is one of the leading internationally reputed hospitals in the world exclusively treating patients who suffer from kidney diseases for the past 40 years.

The Company has extended financial assistance of Rs.1.27 crores (during 2015-17) to MPUH towards establishment of “Support for Dialysis and Pathology Centre” (Centre) under its CSR initiative at “Vimalaben Jayaramdas Patel Dialysis and Pathology Centre” in MPUH Campus for health care.

This Centre has exclusive state of the art facilities for dialysis and pathological laboratory related services. At this centre, bio-chemistry and microbiology tests are carried out. Cross matching of the blood samples is a very important activity carried out in the laboratory, which is very essential for performing kidney transplant operations.

Dialysis section has 50 dialysis machines and around 2,000 dialysis procedures are carried out every month. Molecular Laboratory Department has the state of the art ultramodern equipments and little over 35000 tests are carried out per month, which are very essential for performing kidney transplant operations.

This health care project is certainly adding some value to the endeavours of MPUH to provide the best possible medical care in Nephrology and Urology to the Society at an affordable price.
