Rural Health Project

Rural Health Care is one of the biggest challenges facing the Government Health Department in India. More than 70% of population are living in rural areas with low level of health facilities.

The Company’s one more CSR initiative in the field of Health Care is “Rural Health Care project” supported by an implementing agency viz., “Sanjivani Health & Relief Committee”. This project is providing fortnightly Health Care services to the people of 10 remote villages around Dholka city of Ahmedabad District with the help of Mobile Health Care Unit (MHCU). MHCU consists of MBBS doctor, assistant nurses & pharmacist. MHCUs are well equipped and have provision for different medical services like Dental, Ophthalmic, ECG, Spectacles, pathological laboratory facilities etc.

The Main objective of this project is to provide quality health care services to the needy people and prevent critical diseases by early diagnosis of ailment; and to provide diagnostic services relating to BP, Diabetes, ECG, Pathology tests etc., and make available treatment/medicines on the spot freely/at very negligible cost in the designated 10 villages fortnightly.


Rural Health Project

This project commenced from April 2017, wherein MHCU travels fortnightly in specified 10 villages located in the vicinity of Dholka city as per predetermined time schedule and till date, total of 5,660 patients have been benefited since the beginning of this project.

Sanjivani Health and Relief Committee (SHRC) is a not-for-profit Organization providing qualified health care services to poor people of villages around Ahmedabad in the districts of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar and Kheda at nominal cost at their doorstep. SHRC has a professional medical team of doctors, paramedical staff & volunteers; and send them in a mobile vans to villages and provide general medical care, eye care, dental care, blood sugar testing, hypertension testing and ECG services including mobile pathology laboratory service. SHRC also runs a fully equipped OPD based diagnostic centre viz., Sanjivani Health Care Centre, with 42 consultant Doctors from various faculties, provide their services to needy underprivileged population.
